Bypassing stem cells
Stem cells are basic cells that then turn into other kinds of cells. Scientists are very interested in them because they hold great hope for regrowing damaged tissue. But now we may not need stem cells at all. By exposing human skin cells to certain molecules, they turned them into brain cells.
